On October 9, WisdomTree announced a new addition to the financial landscape: debit cardholders can now spend directly from the tokenized onchain money fund, WTGXX. This fund, composed of U.S. government bonds and other highly liquid assets, offers a return of 4.6% APR, making it an attractive option for investors.

Currently, the WTGXX fund manages about 12 million dollars in assets under management (AUM). This is only a small segment of WisdomTree's portfolio, which manages more than a dozen tokenized investment funds. Among the largest by AUM are the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) with approx. 520 million dollars and the Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Money Fund (FOBXX) with approx. 440 million dollars.
